2025–2026 Mid-Season Update

As the LZMW Yeti Hockey Club hits the midpoint of the 2025–2026 season, both our Varsity and JV teams have continued to demonstrate resilience, growth, and commitment in a challenging and competitive schedule.

Our Varsity team has faced some of the toughest competition in the IHSHL-NC, pushing players to elevate their game and adapt in all areas of play. The coaching staff has focused on refining systems, emphasizing team communication, and developing hockey IQ through film sessions and situational learning. While results don’t always show the full story, the progress in team play and consistency has been clear, and the group continues to trend in the right direction as they prepare for the stretch run of the season.

Our JV squad has shown tremendous character throughout the first half of the year, competing hard despite injuries and a challenging schedule. The players have embraced new systems, improved through experience, and continue to build chemistry and confidence. The second half of the season promises even more growth as the team refines its play and continues to develop future Varsity contributors.

Across both teams, the effort, attitude, and commitment from our players, families, and coaches have been exceptional. The Yeti program continues to move forward with pride, discipline, and a shared determination to finish the season strong.
