The Fall season runs from September through February/March depending on playoff schedule.

We plan on having 2 teams this season: 1 Varsity and 1 Junior Varsity.

Following are Yeti ice slots at Barrington Ice Arena which are split between 2 teams.

Pre-Season Practices

Ahead of our first tournament we have scheduled practices to prepare.

Practices and home games are held at Barrington Ice Arena.

EQUIPMENT PACKAGE

All players will be provided a custom uniform package to promote team unity. The full equipment package is required for first year participants. Individual items are available for reorder for players returning.

There is no slush fund request!

Extra costs may be communicated to the team via your team managers if relevant or there are events planned by individual teams.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are neck guards required by Yeti Hockey?

Neck guards are required to skate, as mandated by USA Hockey as of 8/1/24 along with all USA Hockey required equipment.

Are you interested in paying offline?

Your registration is not complete until you pay in full for the Spring Season. Zelle payments are accepted at lzmhshockey@gmail.com.

ABOUT OUR CLUB

Yeti Hockey is a combined high school organization representing Lake Zurich, Mundelein and Wauconda school districts. We are part of the Illinois High School Hockey League - North Central Division

Our mission is to promote, and develop high school hockey in the communities of Lake Zurich, Mundelein and Wauconda through core values including sportsmanship, integrity and the pursuit of excellence through competition and teamwork. It is our goal to develop our players, both as athletes and individuals. We strive to compete with any high school and midget program in the state.

LZMW Hockey is a 501(c)(3) corporation under the governance of USA Hockey and AHAI and is responsible for its own revenues and expenditures.

2024 Fall Season

Yeti Hockey is no cut program for high school aged players, 9th through 12th grade. They must attend:

- Lake Zurich High School
- Mundelein High School
- Wauconda High School

Equipment packages (complete packages for new players and a la carte options for returning players) will be available shortly.

Please note there is an additional 2% processing fee for all credit/debit card transactions.
